ABOUT

Allego wants everybody to be able to charge their electric cars, wherever and whenever they want. Simply and affordably. To make this happen we are developing charging solutions and tailor-made charging infrastructure for municipalities, businesses and public transport companies.

Allego provides the flexibility for this by developing and implementing charging infrastructure that is reliable, affordable and accessible to all. Allego also develops services that match the charging needs of the future such as the website openbaarladen.nl about charging points in public spaces, the innovative Charging Plaza allowing several vehicles to be supplied with electricity in a small space, as well as Urban Mobility. In collaboration with the automotive industry, government agencies, service providers and electricity network providers, Allego is developing user-oriented services that make the e-driving experience more pleasant and more personal.

MISSION AND VISION

Allego wants everyone to be able to charge their electric car always and everywhere. Easy and affordable. The needs of e-riders and other end users are the basis of our solutions.

APPM is working towards making the Netherlands sustainable. We analyze energy issues and develop measures to mitigate climate change and we have extensive experience in translating policy into implementation.

Our motto is: Making the Netherlands More Beautiful. We focus on electric transportation, smart grids, sustainable development and regional ESCo’s. We act as energy coaches, allowing us, as independent project managers, to build a bridge between implementation programs of the government and the clout of society and the business sector.

We are actively involved in the introduction of electric transportation in the Netherlands as initiators, advisors, experts, and managers of projects or processes. From the introduction of the first electric car in 2009, we have been actively involved with over a hundred electric transportation projects in the Netherlands and beyond.   Internationally we are active in the United States, Belgium and a number of other European countries.

We work for public and private clients, from energy companies, car manufacturers to the national government. We develop the electric transportation business plan for an energy company and outline an action plan for the national government. We aid provinces and municipalities in the development of a public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. We promote regional cooperation, facilitate tender procedures for public charging infrastructure and are fostering a business model where the government, the market and grid managers can come together. Lastly, we are implementing new mobility concepts such as the introduction of electric taxis at Schiphol airport, electric boats and (electric) car sharing concepts.

ABOUT

The world around us is changing fast. The Netherlands faces the constant challenge of maintaining its international competitiveness. On top of this, major societal challenges must be tackled: How can we stay healthy? How can we keep vitality in our ageing population? How can we make our mobility more sustainable and efficient? How can we maintain supplies of green energy and healthy food to meet the growing demand? These are the kinds of challenges that compel us to be creative and effective. Brainport, with Eindhoven at its heart, as one of the three cornerstones of the Dutch economy, along with Amsterdam Airport and Rotterdam Seaport, has a decisive role to play in tackling these challenges. As an innovative high-tech region, Brainport is a substantial contributor to national industrial export and is responsible for a quarter of all private investment in R&D. Brainport generates 37 per cent of all patents registered in the Netherlands each year. From renewable energy to safe mobility and smart remote care, we come up with solutions to worldwide problems in the areas of energy, mobility and health. As the high-tech engine of the Netherlands, Brainport boosts economic growth and helps make society more sustainable, healthy and safe.

THE FUTURE STARTS AT BRAINPORT

We have pushed the envelope to become the beating heart of high-tech Europe, developing strong specialisation in fields like mechatronics, robotics and advanced materials. It is not a position we take for granted. We know we have to keep developing and innovating. In the coming years we need to attract well qualified people at all levels and it is crucial for us to keep and attract R&D. We also need more start-ups and fast-growing innovative companies and investors to enable these companies to take wing. To get these companies, investors, knowledge workers and technical people to settle in our region, we have to create a good business climate, innovative forms of collaboration and cooperation along with international connections. The flock’s power of attraction must be such that it facilitates new initiatives and forms of collaboration and cooperation. Brainport Eindhoven has the best investment climate after London and Helsinki according to the Financial Times, which shows our potential. A top three spot signifies a tremendous jump for Eindhoven in the ranking, which is closely monitored by international investors. Never before has a Dutch city been so highly ranked in this list.

Brainport will also make the difference in the future. The power of attraction of the ‘Brainport flock’ is not just restricted to knowledge workers, investors and companies. The region also draws us towards tomorrow. Together we can develop the products and services that will solve the societal challenges of the future. Making products the world longs for and so bringing the future closer.

EV4 was established in early 2010 by Hans van der Meer and incorporated in the State of Oregon in July 2010 as EV4 LLC. The company’s main office is located at 2727 SE Raymond Street in Portland, Oregon and its subsidiary offices CTS Engineers in Bellevue, Washington and Meckel Engineering in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

The company is in the business of design, finance, manufacturing, installation and operation of its innovative solar ETM™ charging station and smart grid system.

Over the last years, EV4 developed its solar powered EVcharging station, trademarked as ETM™ (Energy Transfer Merchant) – a play on ATM. The fully integrated ETM™ station is equipped with a battery storage system and is capable of AC (Level 2) and DC (Level 3) charging of vehicles with renewable energy, optionally accounting for the sources of clean energy used. The ETM™ battery system is grid-tied with a 3-wire single phase 120/240VAC connection, not requiring the mostly used 3-phase 208/277/480 VACconnection, therefore, no demand charges. Its battery storage system (standard size 50kWh) can provide power system back up, grid support, and load balancing services. Like an ATM storing and dispensing money the ETM™ captures, stores and dispenses energy.
